NextGen Initiative

Launched in 2025, the NextGen Initiative is all about helping younger generations form the same deep bond with Mooselookmeguntic and Cupsuptic that longtime members cherish.

Through regular gatherings, family-friendly events, and informal meetups, we’re creating spaces where kids, grandchildren, and new members can build friendships and memories that last a lifetime.

• Building Community – NextGen events bring together younger members, families, and friends—on docks, trails, and porches—so relationships form naturally around the lake we all love.
• Passing on Lake Traditions – From paddling and fishing to loons-at-dusk listening sessions, NextGen gives families ways to share traditions and stories that have defined summers here for generations.
• Growing Future Leaders – By engaging younger members early, we’re planting the seeds for the next generation of MIA leaders and advocates who will carry this work forward.
